Windows Print Spooler Vulnerability

A vulnerability within the Microsoft OS is currently going relatively un-talked about. PrintNightmare is an active exploit of the Windows Print Spooler, a service enabled by default within Windows.

We have recently become aware of the vulnerability affecting Windows Print  Spooler. This exploit is currently extremely high risk as it has no patch  that is effective in resolving the issue. This Print Spooler service is enabled by  default in Windows and as such action is required.

It is currently recommended to disable the  Print Spooler if possible on relevant machines until such time as a patch is  made available.
